In her work, Carolyn seeks to depict the beauty she sees in the landscapes, seascapes, people, places and things she encounters daily in her life and travels.

She always found the designation Still Life to be somewhat of a paradox.  Defined as a work depicting inanimate (not live) objects, or fruits or flowers, or other things that were once live, but are not still live, they are just still.  Hence, sshe prefers just Stills.
